From Friday, May 13, through Sunday, May 15, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, presents the 10th Annual Houston Palestine Film Festival. The festival features five award-winning films including a documentary about a wedding singer becoming a worldwide sensation through Arab Idol, Oscar-nominated Theeb, which looks at the collision of the East and West during World War I, and a film about a newlywed Palestinian schoolteacher surviving prison with her newborn son. There will be a special appearance by director Hind Shoufani, who will present and lead a Q&A for his film Trip Along Exodus, which screens Sunday, May 15, at 1 p.m.
