The Stages production of End of the Rainbow marks the Houston premiere of the acclaimed play. Originally produced in Sydney at the Sydney Opera House in 2005, the play was later mounted in London (2010) and made its American premiere in 2012 at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, prior to its Broadway run at the Belasco Theatre.
Tracie Bennett was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance as Judy Garland. Houston and Stages favorite Carolyn Johnson will step into the iconic role for the Stages production.
